The Romney campaign is fabricating things again and the right’s media machine is again echoing the lie to the public. Repetition, repetition, repetition and soon the lie becomes a ‘truth.’ This one is absolutely preposterous, designed to distract attention from continuing calls for Romney to explain what he is hiding by not showing his tax returns.

Now Mitt Romney is using another selectively edited video to make it sound like President Obama is a communist who wants to seize all the wealth of the rich and hand it out to … negroes and communist party members?

There is a pattern to Romney’s campaign of lies: accuse President Obama of the very things candidate Romney is doing. This “I know you are but what am I” tactic, in PR-speak, “provides cover.” And this one is a big one, with Romney accusing Obama of cutting Medicare. Wow.
