He is and always was a servant to capital and not a servant of the people. Because of this, Social Security will be cut, Medicare/Medicaid will be further compromised as we see more and more Obama-sanctioned privatizing of public education while strong gun measures get so watered down that they might as well been written by the NRA as our civil liberties disappear in the name of national security and the war on “terrorists.”

These past 4 years of the Obama presidency should inspire us who seek a truly progressive and democratic society based on Human Rights to abandon the Democratic Party like the capitalist plague that it is! We have 3 years to build a powerful Peoples Party to defeat the capitalist vulture with its Republican and Democratic wings.

Impossible in three years? So many folk thought so of an American Revolution against the King of England back in 1773… or the end of chattel slavery in 1862… or the right for women to vote in 1917… or the passage of Brown V Board back in 1951… or the passage of the Voting Rights act back in 1962. All these victories and so many others were about educating, organizing and mobilizing everday folk INDEPENDENT of the political parties as well as speaking truth to power.

President Obama’s proBig Business policies scream at us to stop spending so much physical, mental and financial energy trying to convince him and his party to do the right thing for us- the people. He is doing the right thing… for his CLASS!

Now is the time for us to take up that long tradition of workingclass, Black, Latino, Asian, Native American, women, LBGT Independent Resistance and Struggle for our Rights and Needs!

Can’t we at least limit the growth of Part B & Medigap to the same percentage as the COLA increase?
Better yet get more savings by allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices with the pharmaceuticals and/or replace or upgrade to a Single Payer System and really make a dent in the National Debt.
