We need to increase socialism and communism in this country by increasing the defense budget and making it mandatory that everyone join the military for twenty years and get free medical, pension. GI Bill, no down payment on housing and many more benefits of socialism. The Republican Party insists that the defense budget is sacred and shall increase. The liberals just don’t get it.

Some entitlements we could sacriface:
Paying “big oil” subsidies to look for oil.
Paying big agriculture to farm (or not to).
I worked all my life and the government never paid me to work!

First stop is to rid the military of the corrupt officer corp.
I have hardly met one that actually knew what was going on. They did not want to know and had no need to know as they did nothing.
They knew how to crap on the enlisted who did the dirty work. Correction: They knew how to collect their pay. Also, get rid of the con job called: The Reserve. Get promoted to a higher rank than in service and retire at the higher rank of the reserve.

I believe that the entire cost of “Homeland Security” (spying on citizens and buying assault vehicles and drones) is virtually non-accountable to Congressional budget restrictions. We taxpayers are taking it in the rear from multiple fronts.

There should be a ban on retired generals going to work for defense contractors, or Congresspeople, Senators and elected members of Congresses administrative staff being able to becom high paid lobbiests passing out bribes to their favorite Senators and Congresspeople and other perks.

When we spend so much on weapons systems we no longer use or don’t work, pay inflated prices for toilet seats, hammers, detergent (“liquid surfactant”) and coffepots and for past present and future wars, it is time to clean house at the Pentagon. We need to expose and shut down the military-industrial-complex. It doesn’t aid in “defending, protecting” or “providing for the “general welfare” of all of the citizens of the United States, only the profits of the 2% at the expense of the 98 %. The Military Industrial Complex is taking away our freedom, destroying our planet, and our country, all for the short term greed of the quick fast buck of the top 2 % of the country, who don’t pay their fair share of taxes personallly or for the corporations they control, like GE, which paid no Federal corporate income taxes and got a rebate after making billions in defense contracts off of the Pentagon. The 2% have no loyality to the United States, only to their profit. They are job destroyers! We are the wealth creators!

Serious about the deficit? Use the same methods for medication buying for Medicare that the VA has been using for years to save many millions of dollars. Efforts to change procurement have floated around since Senator Proxmire’s Golden Fleece days but time has come to bring a very real cost savings to Medicare that could be implemented without a decline in benefits.
