What the rich are doing to the middle class is simply what the middle class already did to the poor.  All the money that went into our welfare programs is gone, and more money is needed. Much more. Bad news: The US put far less into welfare than the public was led to believe. In fact, the biggest program, AFDC, used a mere 6% of the fed. budget at its highest - and that was back in the 1970s! Obviously, the middle class must be targeted now. We already know that the they won&#039;t get to their feet to fight back.We had the Occupy movement for a while; once it became redefined as a movement exclusively about the middle class, the better off, the rest of us left, and Occupy died.]]></description>
