		<description><![CDATA[I first became aware back in the mid-1970s of how just mentioning the idea of forming a union leads to getting a pink slip. Pretty hard to fight back these days, isn&#039;t it?  Between raising the money needed to launch an issues campaign, getting a protest permit (assuming they give permission to protest), all the hassles involved with keeping the protest within the limits of the designated protest zone -- all that effort, only to be ignored by the news media and by politicians! Ah well.  The important thing is to just keep pandering to the middle class, pacifying them, telling them you really &quot;feel their pain.&quot;  It was the middle class, after all, that made the decisions, step by step, to allow the very agenda that is wiping them out.]]></description>
