Cut the WAR budget!! Why the heck does the US–with less than 5% of the world’s population–spend nearly 50% of the global arms spending? Cut the Do”D”(seriously, the US hasn’t engaged in any defense since WWII)budget by at least 25% for FY2013, then 25% more each succeeding FY, until it becomes smaller than the average global per capita spending. The world needs less drones and nuclear WMDs, not a continuation of the same old…

When selfish noncaring and non thinking people like McConnell, Boehner. Romney, Ryan, and their supporters like O’Reily, Limbaugh, and all their likes gain power it is time to become afraid. We must fight them tooth and nail at every turn and not give them an inch or they will smash the life boat. What we need to do is think good thoughts and ask the Lord who reads all our mind to destroy the power of these people before it gets started.

The article does not name the Senators who are signing the letter. If they are all Dems, will it have any effect? Reps will still filibuster to prevent positive action.
