We need a rate well above the Clinton era. enough to double the income to about 2 trillion dollars. The other 2 trillion can be had by cutting military spending and eliminating loopholes in other policies. What we cannot afford is any tampering with Social Security, Welfare, Medicare or Medicade, or any other social safetynet payments. These aren’t “entitlements”; they are Rights.
