NEW--Boehner said :”The Republicans have a Mandate Do No Raise Taxes”
OK! 2013 Budget calls for 900B Deficit. Is that ok?
Since 1980, the Republicans have been cut taxes cut taxes. For Rich.
Reagan cut top rate 60% and increased debt 189%.
Bush cut Top rate(bottom 60% got 16.4%) and increased debt 112% or 6000 Billion.
His 2009 budget gave us a first trillion deficit or 1400 Billion.
He inherited a surplus.

We must increase taxes on estates and top incomes if ever we intend to balance the budget and pay off horrid Republican created Debt of 16,000 Billion. Yes! Republican Debt.
They have been the Party of Spend & Borrow =let Kids Pay Tomorrow--versus--- Democrats Tax and Spend = will Pay Your Way.

1980-2009 three Republican presidents over 20 years took a debt of less than 1000 Billion to 10,000 Billion.
One Democratic president balanced the budget.

In 2009, top 25% of individual incomes paid a 18.95% Tax Rate. Top 50% paid a 12.5% Tax Rate on income of about $7000 Billion. They paid about $850 Billion out of $7000 Billion.

The top 10% have the wealth (73% net—83% financial) and income(50%) so we MUST tax them to pay our way. It will grow the economy to get money velocity (not hoarding)through the economy. Clarence Swinney-political historian-Lifeaholics Of America

Jobs are fine, but not if they don't pay a living wage. Urging folks to get a job that leads to poverty is stupid advice.

A fair minimum wage -now $15 an hour in France and Australia - will allow HS grads to hold up their heads, pay their bills and participate in the American dread.

Instead, we allow companies to hire at slave wages, and then we use taxpayer money to subsidize the underpaid, so the workers don't starve to death and leave the companies with no employees.

Why is Social Security so unfair to American women. I have a friend who worked and stayed home a number of years to care for her children. It's her husband who cheated on their relationship and on paying child support when she divorced him. She gets $700 a month and knows someone who never worked a day in this country was brought here by her daughter from Russia and receives much more in Social Security than she does. How is that possible? There are so many people receiving benefits who never paid a dime into the system. I don't have a problem with the handicapped but this handout to foreignors I don't understand. The other disgrace is all the money taken from the Social Security Trust Fund and transferred to general funds that the government should be responsible for returning to the fund with interest is never mentioned. The American public is being handed a bill of goods they never authorized. We have no business nation building anywhere else but here at home. Those who's idea that was should be made to pay for that our of their own pockets.
