Question to help debunk one of my co-workers. He says in Canada hospitals have the right to refuse care if you don't have insurance. I call BS on that one. So let's say I don't have insurance here in the US and I go to Canada skiing or hunting, fall and break my leg. He claims I am out of luck and they will refuse care of me. Can you elaborate? I know your post is 4 years old, but it is still filled with valuable info.

Thanks
